Launched in 2013, Webikeo is a French platform that connects professionals who want to share their expert insight with those looking to build up their knowledge.

An easy-to-use webinar creation platform and a network of more than 300,000 professionals are the ingredients that have allowed Webikeo to host more than 40,000 webinars since 2013. For small businesses as well as for large CAC 40 groups.

In this article, we take a closer look at this approach, at Webikeo’s different features, and at its strengths and weaknesses, so you can decide whether the software meets your webinar needs.

The concept: Webikeo brings an audience of 300,000 members

Webikeo is not just a webinar software, its strength also lies in its community. Beyond letting you create a webinar in a few minutes, Webikeo relies on a community of more than 300,000 members, which gives you a considerable showcase.

webikeo end customer

At first glance, the platform is not aimed at professionals who want to share their expertise, but at the “end customer” looking for information on a more or less specific B2B topic. When you go to webikeo.fr, you will notice that the platform does not show you solutions for creating your webinar, but gives you access to some 817 channels, organized by industry.

Salesdorado’s takeWebikeo’s approach is very interesting, because the webinar is first and foremost a lead generation tool! Access to Webikeo’s users is therefore a big plus for growing your audience.

Features in detail

Setting up the webinar

As soon as you set up your account, Webikeo helps you define your project more precisely by asking you to choose the goal of your webinar, the number of contacts you will be addressing and the type of prospects you are targeting (for a lead generation goal).

Once your account is activated, you can create your first webinar! The process is fairly simple and, once again, you are guided through it:

Fill in all the important information about your webinar, then customize your webinar page by adding your logo and banner. You are then asked to choose the interaction options you will give your audience, as well as the promotion options for your webinar (follow-up reminders to participants, for example).

Each webinar can host an unlimited number of participants, with 6 speakers at the same time. The platform lets you share your content: ppt, pdf, videos, screen sharing: all the important tools are available to make your presentations lively.

Salesdorado’s takeWe like the guidance and the ease of use of the platform, which adapts the features it offers to your goals.

Lead generation

Webikeo matches professionals’ problems with your expertise! By broadcasting your webinars on Webikeo, you reach a community of more than 300,000 professionals, which represents significant lead generation potential. Webikeo creates themed newsletters that it sends to its community, which will boost your audience.

The tool lets you embed registration forms on your website and create landing pages dedicated to your webinars. Webikeo also lets you send reminders to your registrants so they attend your webinar, and send them a notification at the end inviting them to watch the replay.

Finally, after the webinar, you will have access to all the information about the participants (email address, interactions, chat history,…), which will let you get in touch with the “hottest” leads.

After the webinar, participants have access to the webinar replay for 7 days and can download the documents you make available to them.

Reporting

The analytics tools let you track how your webinars perform on the platform (the “Acquisition” section below) as well as your participants’ engagement. The back office also lets you compare your webinars and export the contacts generated through Webikeo.

Webikeo integrations

As mentioned, running webinars helps you strengthen your expert position on the topics that matter to your business, but above all they are a very effective way to generate qualified leads.

In this context, the data collected during your webinars must be fed into your overall inbound and content marketing strategy. Webikeo helps you with this by providing an API and connectors to integrate the platform with your existing tools: CRM software, emailing and marketing automation tools,… Webikeo integrates with the main tools on the market, such as Mailchimp, Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketo.

Here is an example of a workflow triggered when one of your prospects attends your webinar:

Salesdorado’s takeIntegrations are an important factor to consider when choosing your webinar platform. Webikeo’s integrations will let you (among other things) host your webinars and their replay on your website, which matters for your visibility.

Webikeo pricing

Webikeo pricing

Like its approach, Webikeo’s offer is unusual. It stands out mainly on one point: access to the platform’s audience is not included in the entry-level offer.

  • Access Suite, from €3,590 excl. VAT / year. This offer is aimed at companies that want to create their webinars on their own, with no technical setup. It includes an unlimited number of participants and a company channel to bring your community together. However, broadcasting your webinars to the Webikeo audience is not part of it.
  • Core Suite for very small businesses, from €9,490 excl. VAT / year. Reserved for companies with 2 to 19 employees, it adds the broadcasting of your webinars on webikeo.fr and in the weekly newsletters. It also includes analytics with retrieval of engaged contacts, a Customer Success Manager and a live agent to assist the speakers.
  • Custom Suite, on quote. Designed for SMBs, mid-sized companies and key accounts, it includes the services of the Core Suite and adds:
    • acquisition of targeted contacts from Webikeo campaigns;
    • export via API or CRM connectors;
    • professional audio-video production options;
    • participation in themed events.
  • Event packages, for one-off visibility operations:
    • a dedicated one-day event, from €16,980 excl. VAT, with several talks, homepage promotion and targeted invitation campaigns;
    • intensive promotion of your brand for 6 months at the heart of a community, at €36,945 excl. VAT.

Salesdorado’s takeWebikeo is clearly positioned at the high end. Backed by its community of professionals, the platform sells you both the webinar creation and its audience. Be careful though: this audience, the tool’s main asset, is only available from the Core Suite at €9,490 excl. VAT per year. With the Access Suite, Webikeo is closer to a classic webinar software, up against competitors that are often cheaper.
